Artsy portraits of your beloved pets. Please read below about the process and prices. This should answer most questions.
Below I'm going to dive in to answer the most I can about how we can make you a painting. Its really easy.
Here’s the important part: I use a photo as the foundation for all of my paintings. You have the photos, let’s find the right one. We need a clear image that shows your pet’s main features—the eyes, mouth, chin, ears, and of course, the nose, they all need to be clear so we can see the details. The better the photo, the better the painting will be.
Ideally, the photo should be clear from the shoulders up, as I primarily focus on portraits. It’s important that your pet’s face is unobstructed and that any distinctive traits are visible. Please narrow your selection down to 1 or 2 photos, maybe 3 for me to choose from with you.
Think of it like a school picture day shot—a photo where your pet is looking directly at the camera or slightly turned at an angle works best. If your pet usually has its tongue out, let’s capture that too! We want the photo that best represents how you want to remember your furry friend.
Also, consider if you’d like the collar to be included—it’s entirely up to you.
Once you have your top 1 or 2 photos, please send them to me. To keep everything organized, please message me at Jordan Perkins Art on Facebook or use the “Message Me Now” link on the website to take you there. Once I receive your message, photos, and size you are thinking we can go from there.
I don’t have a specific timeline for completion at the moment. However, the sooner we agree on the photos, sizes, and all the details, the sooner the painting will be finished. Just a heads up—it may take a few months, so I appreciate your patience. Oh , payment, it will be 50% once we agree on the photo, size ect... I will send you an invoice for you to use for your records and you can etransfer me. Once its painted and you love it you can pay the balance. My painting will look just like your pup but have my artistic flare added.
I'm really sorry but I only paint one subject per canvas. It's just what I do.
My most popular size—large enough to make a statement, but not too big. It’s ready to hang and comes with a wire attached for easy wall mounting. All of my paintings are created primarily with acrylic and finished with a protective clear coat to ensure they last a lifetime.
These portraits have been deeply meaningful—offering comfort and healing in some cases, and standing out as unforgettable gifts at weddings in others. Each piece is personal, artistic, and one-of-a-kind. Flat $50ping in Ca
